Don't settle for pre-made bases or gas and electric ovens; our amazing pizzas are assembled the old-fashioned way while you watch on hand-made, hand-tossed dough and baked in a roaring woodfired oven. Just imagine sinking your teeth into a crusty, matured, hand-tossed dough smothered in the freshest ingredients, baked beside a blazing wood fire that infuses the pizza with a subtle, smoky flavour. It's made right in front of you, three at a time, with Italian flair and served piping hot to your table so the heavenly mozzarella is a stretchy, gooey delight.
We operate out of a professional factory and refrigerate our products from our premises until it's spread on your pizza, which is industry best practice. Here at Pizza Alfresco, we work hard to ensure our service to you, from the booking to the final bite of pizza, is top quality and easy. We even supply the plates & serviettes so all you have to worry about is enjoying your event.

Carlo was born in Naples under the shadow of Mt Vesuvius, surrounded by the best pizza in the world.
With his extended family owning over a dozen pizzerias in and around Naples, you could say that pizza was in the blood. At 15 years old, Carlo began working for his aunt in a bustling pizzeria right in the heart of Naples. Established in 1945, the pizzeria is still a busy hub and a favorite with the daily market goers and tourists. It was here that Carlo started his apprenticeship as a “Pizzaiolo” (Pizza Chef). The Pizzaiolo must be a real “maestro”, spending over three years learning the traditional techniques of making the perfect pizza.
After many years working in his family’s pizza restaurants, Carlo decided it was time to open his own Restaurante. There, Carlo spent the next ten years supplying pizza and traditional Napolitano fare to the residents and tourists of the iconic streets of Naples.
In 2003, Carlo came to Australia for a holiday and was quickly offered a working sponsorship by a Sydney-based pizza restaurant. He met his wife, made Australia his new home and in 2011 started Pizza Alfresco!
Kerri came on board in 2018 to manage the administration of the business and in true Pizzaiolo fashion, his children are now learning the ropes, too.
