Below is a list of our most commonly asked questions. For queries not answered below, please contact us via our contact page.

What size is the oven?

The dimensions of the oven are 1840mm (184cm) high, 2300mm (230cm) long (not including the tow triangle) and 1955mm (195cm) wide. Ideally, a space of 6 metres x 6 metres will fit all our equipment. Please note: the oven is heavy and may sink if taken onto a soft surface, therefore pavement is preferred. 

How many chefs do you have?

Two professional and friendly authentic pizza chefs will be attending your function!

Do you use rollers to form the pizza base?

No. Our pizzas are made completely from scratch, with our chefs authentically hand-forming the bases immediately before topping and cooking. This stops the air from being pushed out of the dough, creating a hard flat base. Our pizzas are just the way they make them in Naples, Italy.

Our back yard has no drive through access. Can we still book you?

Yes. We will set up out the front and carry the pizzas to the party.

Do you serve the pizzas to our guests?

As we have two chefs, when possible, one chef will walk around offering pizzas to the guests. As your hungry guests start to increase in numbers, we will need both chefs to prepare and cook so we suggest a serving table or individual tables for the pizzas to be served on.

Do you supply plates, cutlery and serviettes?

Yes. We supply environmentally friendly and sustainably sourced sugar cane pulp plates and serviettes. Not only are they better for the environment, but they are easier to clean up than plastic.

What colour is the plates, cutlery and serviettes?

The colour is white. If you don't require plates because of a theme, please let us know.

Do guests select the pizzas they want?

No. Instead, we rotate the pizzas from the selected menu so your guests can try a slice of everything. If you find a particular pizza is popular, let our chefs know and they'll make more. Good news is we can make small changes to the pizza menu before your function, so be sure to bring it up any changes at your time of booking.

Do you have a limit on the pizzas you make?

No. Our service is all you can eat! So tell your guests to bring their appetite. We finish serving when everyone is full.

Do you have a time limit?

No. When you book us, you have us until your guests are finished. Most mobile pizza catering have a time limit of 3 hours, whereas we're flexible to your needs. We understand there can be stragglers or you just have a big party, so there's no rush - within reason, anyway! If you're having an all-nighter, we will need to leave you with some take aways.

When do you arrive to set up?

We arrive at the venue 45-60 minutes before the event to set up. Then, the first pizzas are served at your allocated time! For example, if you have a 5:00pm function, we will be there no later than 4:15pm with the first pizzas being served fresh and hot at 5:00.

Do you need electricity?

Yes. We will supply all power cables for electricity supply within 20 metres of source. If there is no power source within 20 metres please let us know so that we may bring a generator. This may incur an extra charge depending on the number of guests. The power source is to run our lighting and refrigeration, which is imperative for food safety.

Food safety. How can I ensure my guests are safe from food-borne illness?

This is extremely important! We refrigerate our ingredients from time of purchase to time of use. We have a refrigerated transport van, a refrigerated 3-door ingredients fridge attached to the oven trailer and a refrigerated pizza ingredients bar. We have seen many mobile pizza businesses use plastic containers placed on ice, which is unacceptable. We are also fully insured for product and public liability.

Do you cater for corporate functions?

Yes. Corporate events are perfect for our catering. We can issue a tax invoice before your function and receipt after payment.

Our religious background asks for no pork products or has halal requirements. Can you still cater for us?

Yes. We have catered for many such events. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

When and how do we pay?

To secure your booking, we require a $200 non-refundable deposit which we can take via credit card (+ 1.5% surcharge) or via EFT (no surcharge). This deposit is taken off the final amount. The final payment is due 48 hours before your function, or you can make a special arrangement to pay with cash or cheque at the event
